Of all four seasons, autumn is my favorite. <\/p>\n\n<p>A time when I get to see sunrises. A rare treat, since I don&#8217;t like getting up early. <\/p>\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/kayhelena.work\/en\/autumn-morning\/\">mornings<\/a> are sometimes clear, sometimes crisp, sometimes atmospheric and foggy.<br\/>There are rays of sunlight that paint a trail through the morning haze.<\/p>\n\n<p>The morning dew adorns everything with pearls of light.<\/p>\n\n<p>Everything is still abundantly filled with creatures of all sizes.<br\/>The pantries are full. People and animals harvest. <\/p>\n\n<p>Gradually, the trees dress themselves in colorful attire.<\/p>\n\n<p>There&#8217;s an intense scent of leaves, of moisture and life.<\/p>\n\n<p>Mushrooms shoot up from the ground.<br\/>Mosses and lichens are in full vigor, deeply colored.<\/p>\n\n<p>The sun still has strength, and I appreciate its warm rays even more when they shine on my back in the cool air.<\/p>\n\n<p>On the cooling evenings, warm stews taste better again.<br\/>Rice pudding, semolina pudding. Cinnamon and sugar. Cardamom. Pancakes with walnuts and plums.<br\/>First thoughts of Christmas cookies.<br\/>Hot cocoa in a large mug. Under a wool blanket on the couch. A book in hand.     <\/p>\n\n<p>Cuddling with your favorite person.<br\/>With children.<br\/>With dog and cat. The whole family. <\/p>\n\n<p>Did I mention that already?
