Today was one of those days again: I had the time and opportunity for a little walk with my camera.My last walk was still in winter\u2014and now, with the camera in hand, I walked much more attentively.<\/p>\n\n

That’s when I first noticed how much spring has arrived.Of course. Everything is green and blooming.But only today did I truly perceive it with all my senses. <\/p>\n\n

The Gift of Observation<\/h2>\n\n

It’s a gift, a blessing, to see all these little details.On top of that, it had rained during the night. Everything smelled fresh of damp forest floor and sweet blossoms. The birds gave their best and most beautiful performance. <\/p>\n\n

All kinds of snails were out and about on the damp ground. Roman snails, striped Roman snails, banded snails, door snails… <\/p>\n\n

The wayside was dressed up in the cheerful colors of herbs.Purple, yellow, and white dead-nettles, bright yellow dandelions in abundance, daisies, often with pink petal tips. Pink cranesbill, pale pink cuckooflower. Blue forget-me-nots and much more. <\/p>\n\n

Spiders and insects also made an appearance. Preferably in the sun on plant leaves\u2014probably soaking up warmth. <\/p>\n\n
